What is you favorite place on campus? Why?

I love walking around the duck pond.  It is a beautiful spot and just the right distance from my office for a nice lunchtime walk.

Share something about yourself that might surprise your students.

When I was twelve I won an international singing competition in Guatemala by singing "From a Distance" by Bette Midler.

What gives you the most satisfaction as a teacher?

I find great satisfaction when a student finally breaks through a wall after a struggle. It is a joy to see hard work pay off!
