Rhythm and blue-eyed soul is the description given for this incredible vocalist and his gifted group of musicians!  Join us for the sixth Friday Night Out Concert of the Virginia Tech/Town of Blacksburg Summer Arts Festival 2017 when Hoppie Vaughan and the Ministers of Soul take the Henderson Lawn stage with their own unique style of rhythm and soul!

Hoppie's musical performances span over the last 40 years.  In the last ten years Hoppie has released 6 CD projects: Hoppiesongs, Fat Daddy Band Live and Lovin' It, Hoppie Vaughan & the MOS Work, Meansville Road, Simple as That, and Living the Dream. Hoppie now performs with the Ministers of Soul, and also as HOPPIE VAUGHAN solo act. The group was voted Best Local Band by City Magazine in 2009, and Hoppie was voted Best Musician by Roanoke City Magazine in 2012 and 2013.
