Pianist Justin Badgerow will perform an entire program of Brazilian piano music featuring works of Heitor Villa-Lobos, Francisco Mignone, Paulo Gondim, and Darius Milhaud. Badgerow has made a special study of Brazilian music; he has visited the country numerous times to work with Brazilian musicians, and will record this program next year in attempt popularize the pieces with U.S. music lovers. 

Badgerow enjoys a successful career as a solo and collaborative pianist as well as a pedagogue. He has performed as a soloist throughout the United States, and as a concerto soloist with the Kennett Symphony and Imperial Symphony. A champion of Latin American piano music, Badgerow has performed at the International Joaquín Rodrigo Conference in El Paso, Texas and at the Southwest Council of Latin American Studies (SCOLAS) conference in Mérida, Yucatan, Mexico. In addition, he has also performed and lectured in Brazil and South Africa. 

​He is currently an Associate Professor of Music at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania where he teaches piano, music theory, and aural skills.
