This unique musical evening features reflections on World War I. The Great War affected the lives of many individuals, from classical composers and poets to the singers of music hall ballads.

Prominent on the program will be works of Denis Browne (died at Gallipolli in 1915) and Ivor Gurney (shell shock, never recovered), alongside the U.S. premiere of modern composer Ian Venables' "Through These Pale Cold Days."
