"An Iliad" by Lisa Peterson and Denis O’Hare
Based on Homer’s The Iliad, translated by Robert Fagles; Performed by Daniel Bird Tobin

Over the course of 95 minutes, "An Iliad" collides Homer's classic story of the Trojan War into the modern world. The lone figure onstage is a storyteller who confronts the empty stage and the absent muses to recount this epic story.

Arriving in Blacksburg after a tour across the US and to England, the production has been called "riveting" by the Duluth News Tribune and "astounding," "stunning," and "captivating" by audiences. Originally produced by #theaternow, this production has been directed by Tommy Butler and Amanda Pintore.
