“... all the old will be dead.” Where is our country headed? What version of our country is being born to replace the old? Who even is an American?

Against the backdrop of the AIDS crisis, Tony Kushner’s epic play interrogates and defends our country with these questions.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play, "Millennium Approaches" sees the progress our future holds.

A future where someone can find the strength to build a new life. A future where someone can find love while eating hot dogs and sipping Pepto Bismol on the steps of a courthouse. A future where Prior Walter can escape all the Walters who came before him, through the guidance of an Angel. A bright future.
