"not your doll" is a devised theatre project inspired by Ibsen's "A Doll's House."

In "A Doll's House," housewife Nora realizes that while performing her roles as daughter, wife and mother, she has been a plaything in a world controlled by men. Nora chooses instead to honor her most sacred duties: the duties to her self.

This devised piece will feature new content generated by the cast throughout the rehearsal process, and will examine the ways in which societies and individuals create identities.
