Join music faculty members Brian Thorsett and Richard Masters for a Victorian tale of young love, murder and madness.

A century and a half ago, two children - a young lad and the titular, Maud - were matched by their fathers to be wed. The older men, being close friends, wished to entwine their futures.  Years later, however, a disastrous speculation in the market causes one man to be beggared and the other to become a millionaire. A suicide, a garden walk, a second suitor and a duel later, Maud and her brother lie dead and the youth, driven mad by guilt, rediscovers purpose in war.
