The VT Philharmonic, under the direction of  Mathias Elmer, performs an evening concert featuring the winners of the Virginia Tech Soloist Competition 2021/22.

On the program:

Violin Concerto in D Major Op. 35 by P.I. Tchaikovsky with soloist Justin Liang, violin
Méphisto Masqué by Edmond Dédé
Piano Concerto in A Minor Op. 16 by Edvard Grieg with soloist Jeremy Becker, piano
Berceuse & Finale from Firebird by I. Stravinsky

For the safety of our audiences and performers, masks are currently required for attendance at all School of Performing Arts indoor events, regardless of vaccination status. This includes all concerts, theatre productions, and cinema screenings. University policy requires masks in indoor public spaces. All attendees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
